For the first week of this module I started my 100 drawings by experimenting with different ways of getting an image onto paper other than looking and drawing. This lead me to using print and just drawing from shadows a lot. I found this method much easier to do compared to drawing from perspective and I really enjoyed working in this way.

From looking at my collection of drawings I had created over the course of the first week I wanted to pursue the print and shadow methods to create my final piece. I especially love prints from the body formed in a similar way to the work of Yves Klein’s ‘Anthropometry’ images. I love the subtle prints that allow the viewer to put the pieces together to makeup the body of the model. I also like the ‘measurement of man’ idea of how the prints alone can tell the viewer things about the person making the print.
